Everton are choosing not to comment on a story that former Manchester United and Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon's leading a consortium trying to buy the club

It's reported by the Telegraph that majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri's held initial talks with the group.

Mr Kenyon's understood to be involved in the bid which is backed by two American businessmen.
