Hounslow Council says it’s a little closer to its declared aim for jubilee year of planting a tree for every child born in the borough

 The latest editions to what’s described as The Queen’s Green canopy were planted at Turnham Green, St Paul’s recreation Ground, Boston Manor Park, Sutton Manor and the Farrell Road Open Space.

 Vartieties include Cherry, Holly, Crab-apple and Horse Chestnut.
