Surrey County Council has been rated as a Gold Tier council in Uswitch’s first annual Green Council Report 2022.

The report looks into how committed councils are to being more environmentally friendly.

Surrey County Council has proven to be doing better than 67% of UK County Councils.

The UK’s net zero emissions target date is set for 2050.
