Chris Grayling, who is also the area’s MP, is expecting some parts of the borough to be included in the ULEZ expansion next year.
But he says Transport for London is yet to give clear details about how it would work on roads that cross the London Surrey border.
He’s lodged an objection to the scheme, which sees people pay a daily £12.50 charge to enter the zone, with Transport for London.
