Psychotherapists from the Roehampton Hospital will lead the team at the new base with the aim of making access to treatment easier.
They say they have seen a “tsunami” of enquiries from people seeking help for depression, anxiety and eating disorders.
In some cases, the rate of enquiry was 40% high last year than the year before.
