A registered sex offender from Byfleet has been jailed for 4 years and 8 months after repeatedly approaching young girls online.

55 year old Albert Jones was found guilty of attempt to cause or incite a female under 16 to engage in sexual activity.

 Posing as a 17-year-old, he would contact 13-year-old girls via social media encouraging them to chat in a sexual nature.

He would then close the account and then re-engage with the child using a different profile username.
