Low carbon and energy efficient sources of power have been installed in schools and public buildings, cutting thousands of tonnes of CO2.
That includes air source heat pumps, LED lighting, solar panels and insultation.
Councillor Katherine Dunne says it’ll “produce lasting benefits for generations to come”.
