The inspirational young people chosen to perform the coin toss at Wimbledon are being praised for their caring efforts.

13-year-old Dylan Mulvey from Wandsworth performed the toss at the men’s final on Sunday.

He was nominated after taking part in an abseil for St George’s Hospital in Tooting.

Meanwhile, 13-year-old Gabia Sakaviciute flipped the coin at the women’s, after caring for her family and neighbours during the pandemic.

Mitcham-based charity Jigsaw4U nominated her, with boss Stephen Loizou saying they’re “extremely proud”.
