The Met Police have launched a hotline to report corrupt and abusive police officers and staff
It’s being managed by the independent Wallington based charity Crimestoppers, who also specialise in keeping callers anonymous. Examples include officers trading police information for money, leveraging their power for sex, being racist or homophobic, or violent. The Met adds that a specialised team will assess the information, and send it to specialised detectives. The number is free, and is 0800 085 0000.
