The next generation of artists in Surrey have been put to the test
National Highways challenged students at four schools to submit designs for the new Cockcrow Heathland bridge. This is the major redevelopment of the Wisley Interchange. The M25 and A3 are both being widened here, but National Highways also wants to enhance and restore woodland. Children at St Mary’s Primary, Cobham Free School, The Marist Catholic Primary and The Raleigh School all submitted designs. More than 230 drawings have been received, with designs including foxes and weasels, flora and fauna. The winner will be announced in January.
