More than 1,600 people have been arrested as part of a major operation to target county lines drug gangs over the last week

Police also recovered more than two million pounds in cash, and over 400 weapons including handguns.

31 kilograms of Class A drugs were also seized.

In Surrey, officers seized £17,000 in cash and 168 wraps of cocaine.

Meanwhile in London, the Met seized over £600,000 and arrested 222 people.
