Transport, education and health are all being disrupted today as hundreds of thousands of workers take part in strike action

Walkouts by teachers in Scotland and Wales have been called off after an agreement was reached over pay.

But Kevin Courtney, the joint head of the National Education Union says the education secretary seems unwilling to resolve things in England.

Ms Keegan says she's made a "serious offer" to get round the table.

Sarah Olney is the Lib Dem MP for Richmond Park.

She says it needs to be “a sensible deal so that the public and workers do not have to continue to suffer.”
