People in Sutton are being encouraged to voice their opinions about the ULEZ expansion at a public meeting later this month.
The £12.50 daily charge for the most polluting vehicles is being introduced to every London borough from the end of August.
London’s Mayor, Sadiq Khan, says the move is vital to clean up the capital’s “toxic” air.
But Sutton Council is against the move, saying transport links are not good enough in the borough for people to ditch their cars.
The authority has so far refused to sign an agreement allowing TfL to install ULEZ signage and cameras on council-owned property.
Residents wishing to speak at the council meeting on the 24th need to fill out a form which can be found on the authority’s website.
