44 year old Mina Limbu died after being hit by a car as she crossed the A4 in April 2018.
27 year old Harry Hopkins was handed the prison sentence when he appeared at Isleworth Crown Court earlier.
He has also been disqualified from driving for three years and must take an extended driving test before being allowed to drive again.
