The Shirley Oaks scandal is widely recognised as one of the worst in British history.
The hearing is part of the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse and is being held in Southwark.
The Inquiry has so far heard how children were systematically abused by paedophiles who targeted jobs in the care system.
