The company that manufactures the likes of Marmite, is moving into Kingston.
Unilever is moving five offices from across the South East into Surrey House in the town centre.
The consumer goods giant owns over 400 brands and also has a management training centre in New Malden.
Plans will be submitted for two interconnecting office buildings and a significant number of affordable residential units.
Kingston Council has issued a statement saying;
“This is excellent news for Kingston, and Kingston town centre in particular. Unilever has been part of Kingston’s business community for many years and their investment emphasises the strength of the town’s offer for employers and their employees. We are very much looking forward to seeing their plans evolve.”
