The MP for Carshalton and Wallington is calling on its residents to support local businesses.
Elliot Colburn has been speaking to independent shops across the area to see what measures have been put in place to protect customers.
It comes as many non-essential stores have reopened their doors this week.
Mr Elliot was confident how the high street has stepped up since the pandemic and said ‘it was an important time to shop local and support them’.
