Thousands of people across Lambeth are expected to perform a doorstep rendition of a Desmond Dekker classic next Monday

They’ll come together to sing “You can get it if you really want” to mark Windrush Day 2020.

The day was introduced in June 2018 on the 70th anniversary of the Windrush migration.

Lambeth Council’s also calling for a permanent monument to be installed at Windrush Square in Brixton and not at Waterloo.
