Today is the last day for people to submit comments about plans to build a school on a field in Wallington.

The controversial Sheen Way development would see a special needs school built that would hold 246 children between 5 and 19 years old.

However, concerns have been raised about the loss of green space, and the impact construction could have on the environment.

Conservative MP Elliot Colburn is also running a petition against the development.

He says “We can do so much better for some of the most vulnerable children in our Borough”.
