A campaign against flytipping in Croydon has hit its first goal

Council workers seized their 50th van on Wednesday, after footage showed it dumping rubble, tarpaulins and other rubbish in South Norwood.

It’s believed it’s linked to three other fly-tips across the borough.

If the owner doesn’t come forward within a month, it’ll be crushed.

Fly-tippers face an unlimited fine, property forfeiture, and even prison sentences.
