A Conservative MP is being accused of inappropriate behaviour, after allegedly asking an intern to “fool around with him”

That’s according to BBC Wales.

Rob Roberts also admitted to asking out a Commons employee, but recognises that “was inappropriate”.

Kingston MP and acting leader of the Lib Dems, Sir Ed Davey, says “we must make sure women are safe at work”.

He’s among those calling for the whip to be removed from Mr Roberts during investigations.

A Tory spokesperson says they take all allegations extremely seriously, and have processes in place to investigate complaints.
