A proposed shake-up of local government could lead to some councils disappearing in Surrey and others being merged.
Ministers are hoping to replace the two-tier system of county and district councils with more unitary authorities, meaning Surrey County Council could itself disappear.
Local political parties are looking into the various options for drawing the local government map including the size of councils, and maintaining local identity.
