Cllr Jim Millard has helped nearly 160 households so far this year, up on 109 last year.
He assists people living in social housing who have unresolved problems with their landlords.
In his report to the council, Mr Millard welcomed the reduction in anti-social behaviour cases he's dealt with despite an increase in referrals.
