Councillors in Sutton have condemned Elliot Colburn, MP for Carshalton and Wallington, for supporting plans to consolidate health services in the area.
500-million pounds will fund a new state-of-the-art hospital in Sutton, while St Helier and Epsom will lose services but see their hospitals modernised.
Lib Dem councillors have promised not to give up on St Helier.
