Two Sainsbury’s across Richmond won’t be selling alcohol after 9pm until the end of August.

It’s a move to tackle late-night gatherings, and problems of public urination, littering and noise.

Council leader Gareth Roberts calls it a “very welcome step”.

He’s calling on other retailers to follow suit.
