A group of 13 people have raised nearly £3,000 for the Queen Elizabeth Foundation, in memory of a former colleague.


David Steel, from Epsom, worked and volunteered at the charity for two years, but died unexpectedly.

62-year-old Patrick Leaney headed up a team to do what would have been the RideLondon-Surrey route.

The Leatherhead-based QEF are currently running an appeal due to the impact of COVID-19, and have raised £126,000 of their £500,000 goal.
