Extinction Rebellion will be pushing their handmade craft ‘The Lightship Greta’ from Brighton to Hackney to help raise awareness.
On the week-long journey they’ll also stop in Horsham, Crawley, Redhill and Vauxhall – with a live samba band in tow.
Group member, Faith Terry-Doyle, said "Pulling a huge lightship is hard, dealing with the climate crisis is even harder, but when we pull together we can make a great change."
