Judith Francois has been named a National Teaching Fellow by higher education charity, Advance HE.
She set up a programme to help Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic mental health nurses develop the skills to access more senior roles.
Her Harnessing BAME Mental Health Nurses' Talent Programme was also shortlisted for a Royal College of Nursing Institute award.
