The Mayor of London is to carry out his own consultation on controversial plans to redevelop the old Homebase site in Kew


It's after Richmond Council turned down an application by developers to build 385 homes in four tower blocks there.

The authority said the proposals didn't include enough affordable homes and the design was visually intrusive.

Residents have until September 3rd to have their say on the GLA's consultation led by London Mayor Sadiq Khan.
