An inquest has opened into the death of Wandsworth teenager, Nora Quoirin, who was found dead on a family holiday in Malaysia.

15-year-old Nora vanished from her room at the Dusun rainforest resort last August.

Malaysian police said there was no foul play involved, but Nora’s parents insist it was unlikely for her to wander off as she had severe learning disabilities.

Nora’s parents were unable to attend the proceedings due to the Coronavirus pandemic but are expected to give evidence through a video conference next week.
