Croydon has recorded the largest increase in domestic abuse incidents since the beginning of lockdown out of all the London boroughs.

Met police data revealed that crime counts in London increased by 16.6% from 7,268 in March to 8,589 in July.

Incidents recorded in Croydon in the same period increased from 400 cases in March to 494 in July.
