Campaigners have been outside Epsom Hospital protesting against plans to move services out of Epsom and St Helier hospitals

The car rally started at Kiln Lane at 3.30pm.

Epsom faces losing 169 beds, and St Helier will lose over 350 beds after NHS health bosses agreed last month that services like A&E and maternity could be moved to a new “super hospital” in Belmont.

However, campaigners say the decision will mean patients will have to travel for longer to receive urgent care.
