Construction on a new temporary cycleway along Chiswick High Street has been given the “green light”.

The new route, part of Cycleway 9, will facilitate safer cycling between Olympia and Kew Bridge.

It’s part of TfL and Hounslow council’s Streetspace scheme offering an alternative to driving or using public transport.

A decision as to whether to make the cycleway permanent will be decided next year after feedback is reviewed.
