Over £100,000 is now available for people struggling to afford food and other essentials in Richmond.

The Council set up its own Emergency Grant Fund at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Over £70,000 has been awarded so far; the new cash fund is coming from the government.

The grant will be split between voluntary organisations who will distribute it to those most in need.
