The council is deploying so called “Community Protection Notices.”
Failure to comply with the notice can lead to a fixed penalty notice, remedial action or a court order.
The council says people have been dumping litter at the recycling depot at all hours meaning more work for council staff.
Five “serial offenders” have already been issued with the notice.
