The government will cover the cost of schools in England appealing against exam results.


Education secretary Gavin Williamson says it would be a shocking injustice if schools were put off appeals because of the cost.

In Kingston, the council’s been monitoring A-level results and says the feedback shows a disproportionate number of inaccurate grades.

But at Kingston University Dr Hannah Moir says they’re doing their best to help those students without a University place – through clearing.
