13-thousand donations have been made so far to help treat Covid-19 patients, but appointments have dropped by almost a half in the past month.
The NHS is especially looking for males to sign-up as they produce more antibodies than women.
People can donate at the NHS Blood Donor Centre in Tooting, next to St George’s Hospital.
