The Council is the latest authority to join the nationwide "Respect Your Park" campaign on social media.
The initiative encourages visitors to make sure they clear up after themselves and take their rubbish home if bins are full.
It also aims to educate people on the detrimental effect littering has on wildlife.
Last month, a stag was pictured in Richmond Park with plastic tubing wrapped around its antlers.
