The Premier League has described yesterday's test event to reintegrate fans into football - involving Chelsea and Brighton - as "very encouraging".

Two-and-a-half-thousand supporters watched the 1-all draw, with minister for sport Oliver Dowden calling it "an important milestone".

In a statement, the league's chief executive - Richard Masters - says the organisation is "committed to having full stadia as soon as possible".

It was a good debut too for Timo Werner – Chelsea’s new German striker – who scored after 4 minutes.
