That’s according the coroner, who spoke to the inquest into the death of Dmitry Obretetskiy in November.
However, the
circumstances surrounding him being in the road are mysterious, as the Jaguar
was travelling at 35mph and would have been seen coming.
The coroner
theorised that his dog ran into the road, or he was waiting for a gap in
traffic and mis-timed it.
It’s not believed that Obretetskiy has expressed opposition
to Russian leader Vladimir Putin, unlike other Russians who have died nearby
that the Kremlin denies involvement in.
