A man and woman have been convicted for holding and transporting a gun and ammunition following a trial at Croydon Crown Court.

26-year-old Bekki Dean from Carshalton, and 39-year-old Bradley Clancy, 39 of no fixed address, were found guilty of firearms offences following a nine-day trial.

In August last year specialist firearms officers, stopped a black Volkswagen Polo on Peterborough Road in Carshalton where a gun and ammunition was discovered in a bag.

The pair are due to be sentenced in October.
