Mole Valley Council is looking at expanding one of the borough’s cemeteries.

Dorking Cemetery is at capacity and councillors say that there will be no more space in a year if action isn’t taken now.

The council wants to remove one of the lesser used paths at the site in order to accommodate new plots.

 It says it isn’t taking the course of action “lightly.”
