Police are trying to trace the victim of an alleged assault in New Malden high street

Reports suggest the victim was hit by a woman carrying a begging sign outside Poundland on the 9^th of September at around 10.30am.

Police are asking people not to give money to street beggars as they can be linked to organised crime and exploitation. 

People are being asked to donate to a charity instead if they wish to give money.
