Surrey Fire and Rescue Service says it’s not worried by changes to the county’s road network to accommodate Covid-19 measures.

 Bosses say they’ve engaged with Surrey Country Council over the plans.

The Government pledged to release £250m to councils for the reallocation of road space in May.

But none of Surrey’s  “active travel schemes” involve road closures or “physical restrictions” meaning emergency vehicles can pass.
