There's a warning one in five species of wild maple trees are at high risk of extinction

Experts say climate change and a loss of habitat caused by urban developments are largely to blame.

The latest "Red List" published by the Kew-based Botanic Gardens Conservation International shows 36 out of the 158 species are in danger.
