A man has been arrested in Italy on suspicion of plotting a string of high-value burglaries in Westminster

36-year-old Alessandro Maltese was returned to the UK via Heathrow yesterday.

A European Arrest Warrant had been issued earlier this month.

He’ll appear in court today.
