Being hit by a stag at 30mph is the equivalent to being mown down by a motorbike

That’s the message from Royal Parks as rutting season returns to Richmond and Bushy Parks.

Around 1,000 deer roam freely and breeding season can be a potentially dangerous time for visitors. 

Royal Parks says you, and any dogs, should keep a safe distance and not to enter an enclosed space with a stag and its females.
