Police in Tolworth and Hook say there’s a “smartly dressed fraudster” wandering round seeking money.

The man in his late 20s has been reported in Hook Rise North pretending to be a neighbour in need of access to WiFi.

However, once he has engaged in conversation with the homeowner, he asks them for money.

Officers are telling residents to close the door on people they don’t know.
