The threshold for Small Brewer Relief is to be halved.
That could place 150 of them at risk, according to the Society of independent
brewers.
Jack Hobday from Anspach and
Hobday in Croydon, is behind a petition against the changes.
He says that it’s going to be
difficult to adapt at a time when revenue is down anyway.

The government says
80% of brewers are unaffected, and mean it’s easier for them to grow to higher
levels.
