Spending in central London is set to fall by £10.9bn as a result of Covid-19.

The money brought in by foreign tourists is set to drop by £7.4bn while domestic tourism will fall by £3.5bn.



London mayor Sadiq Khan said the data showed government bailouts were only a "sticking plaster solution".
 
The government has accepted that some sectors “needed more support” and announced changes to its Job Support Scheme.
